2012 Scholarship Golf Scramble
Hosted by City Bank Texas, the 11th Annual SPC Scholarship Scramble is scheduled for June 4, 2012 at the Lubbock Country Club, West Texas' premiere golf course. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Founders Opportunity Scholarship and provide impact scholarships for SPC students. The tournament is a four-person scramble shotgun start event. Men's, women's and mixed foursomes are welcome. Entry is limited to the first 32 teams (128 golfers).
Check-in and lunch will begin at 11 a.m. Tee time is 12:30 p.m. and an awards ceremony follows the round of golf. Prizes will be given to the top three teams.
Participation sponsorships, which range from $800 to $3,000, include a complimentary team entry to the tournament. For more information about the tournament and to register your team, visit SPC Scholarship Scramble.

2012 Scholarship Gala
The 14th Annual Scholarship Gala is scheduled for February 25, 2012 with featured entertainment by Jason Wyatt. A graduate of SPC's commercial music program, Wyatt is a singer/songwriter who resides in Nashville and is also lead performer for The Lost Trailers.
This gala celebration features an evening of fine dining, exceptional entertainment from the Fine Arts and Creative Arts Departments at SPC, and festive fellowship as we gather to raise scholarship funds for SPC students. Recipients of the Foundation's Pacesetter Award are also announced at the Gala. Table sponsorships are available at varying levels are made available as well as individual tickets to the event. In recent years, featured entertainment for the Gala has included country music recording star Richie McDonald, Texas country music artist Charla Corn, both former SPC students, and Ida Red, a progressive bluegrass band with former SPC students Ben Clark, Penny Clark and Katy Clark.

Singer and songwriter Jason Wyatt put on a stellar performance at the 14th Annual Scholarship Gala February 25, 2012 on the SPC campus. Wyatt is a graduate of the College's commercial music program and currently resides with his family in Nashville where he performs as the lead singer for The Lost Trailers.
